Super Star Destroyer (Scratch Build) Introduction

Well, it's finally that time. after many many weeks of prep work and getting the right dimensions for proper scale, I'm ready to start the Ultimate Super Star Destroyer. When complete it will measure nearly 5' long. The process I'm using is as follows:

Wood Framework for the outer hull and inner support structure with raised resin details cemented on to give it the proper texture. After which I'll fully cast the top "triangle" and the bottom seperately in fiberglass, and addition super structures will be done in both fiberglass and resin molds. The wood will be desposed of and Clean up will start. Flash around the edges will be cut and sanded down and the fiber obtics will be put in place. The wood support structure will still be utilized to build the two outer shell pieces around for additional strength. Further surface details will take place after that. Check for updates and first pictures of process!
